Sara Atashhoosh

I am an artist working across illustration, painting, and sculpture. Over the years I have collaborated with international publishers and organizations including BBC, Timaş Çocuk, Persian Media Production, NAVA Art, and Hazaya, and my work has been presented in exhibitions such as Cow Festival 2021 and TOAF #63 in Toronto. I have also had the experience of creating public murals for StreetARToronto and Bell Box in Canada.

In my sculptures, I draw inspiration from historical motifs, mythology, nature, and visual elements of Persian art. My goal is to transform cultural symbols and narratives into contemporary three dimensional forms. Through this work, I aim to build a bridge between illustration, painting, and sculpture, where story, texture, and form come together to create a new artistic expression.
